February 2015 Favourite: 2015 Planner by fallindesign

Hi Blossom

How are you?

This is my first ever-monthly favorite. It’s a little bit overdue but just like the saying “it’s better late then never” huh? If you’ve read my 2015 resolutions (I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who reads it), I did say that I wanted to be more organised. Planner is one of the ways that I can think off to help me to be organized. Late December last year, I was looking for a planner and if you’re into planners you know that decent planner is very hard to find in any bookshops in Malaysia. What can I say, that’s one of the few things you have to deal with if you live here. Good things are hard to come by.

The last resort, I have to buy mine online but good planners are costly. I really don’t want to spend a lot on my first planner because I’m not sure whether I will like it or not and when I was looking it’s already Christmas. Some of the companies needed 3 weeks to print and prepare the planner and New Year is coming. So, I ended up with a sketchbook that costs only RM7.50. What a bad decision. I thought I could make it work like a planner but it’s a mess. If you know me, I’m the kind of person who needs a structure.

They offer free shipping world wide for purchases over USD$170.

I think you know where this is going. Lastly on Feb 2015, I ordered a planner from Haha. This is a lesson for me, never be a cheapskate. Fallindesign is a company based in South Korea. They sell all kinds of stationaries, digitals accessories and office supplies at very reasonable prices. The shipping cost to Malaysia also is not that ridiculous since South Korea is not that far from here. When you place an order, you can choose to opt for standard shipping or FedEx express shipping (5-7days). Of course I opted for express shipping because it was already February at that time. They usually need 2-3 business days to prepare the item. I placed my order on 3rd Feb 2015 and received it on 9th Feb. Man.. that was fast!

The planner was wrapped nicely in a bubble wrap.

When I received it, I was a bit taken aback by how small it is. How am I going to write in a planner this small? Little did I know that I was going to love the planner because of the size. It’s so compact I can just throw it in my handbag and just go about my life. But of course with a size that small there will come few setbacks. In the monthly planner, I think the spaces are quite cramp hence I have very little space to write. Other than that, I don’t think I have any problems with anything else.

Yeah I know. My handwriting is not cute. I use the monthly planner to record my spending and also to track what products I’ve been using so that if I have any allergies it’s easier for me to detect the culprits.
I’m not sure this is how I should use the blank pages but I use it to write pretty much everything.
I know planner should be cute and whatever but i’m a newbie. I’m learning babe. For now, I only have that sticky notes to add some colors to my planner

Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase. The size is compact and it’s perfect for a person like me who’s just trying to use a planner. For 2015 planner, I’m going to start hunting early so that I can have all the time in the world to choose the one that I really like. A good thing about having a planner is I feel like I tend to write everything and that makes me remember things easier. My planner also is a place for me to track my spending. Oh god! Before this I don’t even realise how much I spent for makeups. It made me cringe when I realised I spent too much.

So, if you don’t have any planner yet now might be a good time to start. Believe me, you’ll be surprised by how much it will help you.
