B.liv Soothe and Matte

Hi Dimples,

If you’ve been following me, you know that I have oily and sensitive skin because I kept repeating it over and over. When you have oily skin, then all the “good” things come with it. In my case, it makes my skin really prone to acne. I’ve been using cream moisturizer for years and I think its time for me to change to gel moisturizes because that’s what best for oily skin. There is wide range of gel moisturizer in the market and I ended up buying the B.liv Soothe & Matte moisturizer because the price point is within my budget.

The packaging is nice and simple. It comes in a clear bottle that has a pump applicator, which makes it so handy dandy when I’m using it. The B.liv Soothe & Matte moisturizer is a clear gel moisturizer that absorbs into the skin really fast. Literally it absorbs within seconds.

I do feel like it does soothe my skin a little bit because I don’t get as many breakouts anymore. I feel so desperate to change to gel moisturizer because I read that it can help to prevent the formation of whiteheads but I don’t think this moisturizer reduce my whiteheads in any way. Maybe I should try the B.liv Off With Those Heads?

Does it really keep my face matte all day long?

Yeah, I’m not too sure about that because on a very hot & humid day (Malaysia is pretty much hot & humid everyday), I still got pretty oily all over my face even when I’m wearing my Bare Minerals Matte foundation. On a much more calmer day, I think it did a pretty good job on reducing the excess oil.

Will I repurchase? No.

I’m sorry if this review is so simple. It’s just that I don’t really have much to say about this product because I don’t think it has anything special about it. Don’t let me keep you from buying it because it might be a miracle for you.
