Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover Review

Hello from Malaysia!

How are you? I was looking at my blog’s site stats and I realized one thing. My drug stores product reviews always get more attention than my mid range or high end product reviews. So, to keep you entertain, I have another drug store price range product to review today. It’s the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. It comes in 3 different sizes and I picked the largest one, which is the 6.76 oz.

What it is:

A waterproof eye makeup remover suitable for contact lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes.

What it does:

This do-it-all formula removes waterproof makeup and contains a lash-strengthening complex that’s rich in flavonoids and olive wood extracts.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:

– Parabens

– Sulfates

– Phthalates

What else you need to know:

HydroSenn+ is a plant-derived ingredient exclusive to Sephora that leaves skin feeling soft and luxuriously comfortable. This product is ophthalmologist tested and suits sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

This stuff is really good and the price might be cheaper than some drug store makeup remover. If you like to wear waterproof mascara, you know how hard it is to remove it at the end of the day. Sometimes, you really need to work really hard to get it of your lashes and that’s not good because rubbing your eyes can irritate gentle skin around your eyes, resulting to premature wrinkles. Nobody wants that damn wrinkles woman!

Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover really helps to emulsify the waterproof mascara like a pro. You just need to shake the bottle gently, distribute a little of product on cotton pad and place it on your lashes. Wiggle-wiggle and you’re good! I do not experience any burning sensation or irritation around my eyes; I guess it really is for people with sensitive eyes or skin. It also does not dry out my skin and no scent to it at all. The packaging is user friendly and lets you see how much products left in the bottle. I have to say that it works better than my Mario Badescu gel makeup remover and Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover.

The only thing I dislike about it is, it leaves oily sheen around my eyes. When something really works, I’m ok to let thing like this to slip past me.

Price: RM45 (6.76 oz )

Where to buy: Sephora

Tried it? Love it? Let me know, sistah!
