Product review: Blender Cleanser by Beauty Blender

Last week I made a rather big purchase with Luxola. Everything I bought mounts to RM228 and yeah I think that’s kind of a big purchase because I normally don’t buy things more than RM150. Hmm.. Normally. If you don’t know what Luxola is, you can check it out here.

One of the stuff that I got is Blender Cleanser, the cleanser for Beauty Blender. I am fixated over my Beauty Blender since I bought one for myself. That stuff is really heaven sent because I can assure you that even if you’re beginner in makeup application, you can never go wrong when you use Beauty Blender. It will give you the most flawless finishing look. And you can use it for pretty much everything except for eye makeup application.

The only downside when using a Beauty Blender is you have to really take care of it hygienically. Because if you don’t you’re really looking for trouble. Makeup sponge is a very good place for bacteria to grow because it’s damp and full of gunk. Eww.. Trust me, the pollution is pretty damaging already to our skin. You don’t want to add some more bacteria to it.

When I first got my Beauty Blender, to save some money I just used baby shampoo to clean it because you know Blender Cleanser is quite pricey. Man, the cleaning process is quite lengthy and it didn’t clean my Beauty Blender thoroughly. I can still see residues of foundation and that means my Beauty Blender is not clean. So, this month when I can’t take it anymore, I just went to Luxola and bought Blender Cleanser and some other things. Heeheeheee…… Women!

I tell you what, don’t make the same mistake I made. If you own a Beauty Blender and you’re still hesitant to buy the Blender Cleanser, don’t think too much. Just buy it because if you don’t you will be missing out a lot. The cleanser is so amazing and cleans my Beauty Blender in matter of minutes. I also have Real Technique Miracle Complexion Sponge and if you own one you know it’s a bitch to clean. But with Blender Cleanser, my RT Miracle Complexion Sponge looks like brand new. I feel like I’m doing a commercial but I’m not. I’m not being paid to say this; I buy it with my own hard earned money. That stuff is really da bomb. The feeling when you see you makeup sponges are clean is surreal. Go away bacteria!

If you think it’s expensive, trust me I know all about it. That’s why I waited 3 months before I made a decision. Other than it can clean your makeup sponges, Blender Cleanser also can be used to clean makeup brushes. I’ve tried it and I have to say it again, it’s amazing! It melts away all the makeup stains instantly. Another good thing about it that I have to mention is you don’t need to use a lot of products when you’re cleaning your makeup sponges or your makeup brushes. This thing will last for quite some time.

How to:

• Wet Beautyblender and apply a dime sized amount of the BlenderCleanser to soiled areas of Beautyblender.
• Work into a lather, rinse, and repeat if necessary. Squeeze to remove excess water.
• Set Beautyblender on insert pedestal to dry.
• You can also put Beautyblender in the dryer, but be sure to use an air-dry setting.
• Beautyblender should not come in contact with extreme heat.

To end to this post, I highly recommend this cleanser to everybody who owns makeup sponges and makeup brushes. It will save you a lot of time and it will ensure that your tools are clean and you will have flawless makeup application. When I finished with Blender Cleanser, I would like to try Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser.
